A well planned elevator pitch will create interest, even intrigue, so that the person you are speaking to wants to know more about you or your business. It is an introduction which tells enough to make them want to know more, but not so much that you confuse or overwhelm them with detail. An effective elevator pitch will make the listener want to ask questions and will give a sense of your enthusiasm and personal qualities.
